Gunbattle in Yemen as Saleh remains defiant a day after he backed out of deal to quit.
The most recent developments in Yemen including the deadly clashes in the capital Sana’a and the refusal of President Saleh to conclude a GCC power transition deal raised fears whether Yemen will fall in civil conflict, especially as President Saleh continued to blame the unrest on others and warn of war. Yemen: pro-Saleh forces and thugs shot directly at unarmed anti-government protesters
At least 42 people were killed and hundreds injured, tens in critical condition, when the security forces and the government supporters attacked the protesters in the square of change outside Sana’a University in Yemen’s capital on Friday.
